Dear SunBeing,
Wow it’s been an incredibly full month or more for the team! There has been so much happening in the background. Intensity is very high whilst we also attend to the practical areas of our lives. Hence the lateness of this new newsletter.
This month we would love to welcome a new addition to our team – Nixi Cole. A good friend of ours who has a wonderful passion for community, the arts, land energies, fresh ideas and likes to bring a smile out of people – literally was a clown and Giggle Dr.
For at least 16 months, she has been travelling around Central and South America, house sitting, hostelling, Workawaying and staying on beautiful powerful lands. She is about to re-enter Europe this summer.
Me, Owen and Nixi now all have our own bios in the Meet The Team page. Take a read and get to know us a little better!
Blog: The Living Ground / Suelo Vivo – By Nixi Cole
I had been recommended a project from someone in the community to share with you, that wants some support. It is one that is already on SunBeings on the Foraging & Farming page called The Living Ground / Suelo Vivo.
As it turned out, when I was trying to think how I could raise awareness for this project, I then receive a message from Nixi – and she did not have any prior knowing about my new focus on this project – saying that she is there right now, and that she is keen to share about it. That’s quite some alignment!
So Nixi already has her first blog post to share talking about her experiences with the place and the land it is on, what happens at The Living Ground and the challenges they are facing.
A little change to the blog…
There used to be 2 separate pages for the blog section – one a general blog and one a “Share a story.” There has been some confusion about this as often a story suited both, so now I have unified it all into one page and retitled it Community blog. We still love the stories that get sent in so now there is a category included for Share a story. So if you have any personal stories of growth you would like to share then do continue to send them our way!
